• Career Highlights: Oberstolz and teammate Patrick Gruber look for a medal in Vancouver after finishing fifth at the 2006 Turin Games. Oberstolz is a three-time medalist in the mixed team event at the World Championships, with a silver in 2007 and bronze medals in '04 and '05. Oberstolz, the 2004-05 overall men’s luge champion in doubles, won gold in doubles at the 2008 European Luge Championships. He won silver in men’s doubles in that event in 2004 and bronze in 2006. Oberstolz, who has been competing since 1997, is married to luger Anastasia Oberstolz-Antonova.
