Moeller, who has competed with the German national team since 2001, won gold in men’s singles and mixed team at the 2004 and
'07 World Championships. Finished in second in men’s singles at the 2008 worlds behind countryman Felix Loch. Placed seventh
at the 2009 worlds in Lake Placid, New York, despite competing with a ruptured cruciate ligament suffered in a January training
accident. Finished second in the World Cup standings in 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08. Is a four-time medalist at the European
Luge Championships, taking gold in the mixed team event in 2006, silver in men’s singles in 2004 and bronze in '06 and '08.
