- Career Highlights: Hollingsworth was named the 2006 rookie of the year at the 24th annual U.S. Open of Snowboarding Championships in her hometown
of Stratton, where she was the only female to earn final berths in the quarterpipe, superpipe and slopestyle events. That
same year, Hollingsworth was awarded best tricks honors at the New Zealand Open and placed second at the Junior World Championships.
Hollingsworth’s real breakout season, though, came in 2008, when she started to insert herself in the mix with the top females
in halfpipe. She took silver at one Grand Prix event and silver at another and was named to the Junior Worlds team. That,
however, was a prelude to 2009, when Hollingsworth finished third in the U.S. Open and fourth in the Winter X Games. In addition
to all her podium finishes, Hollingsworth was the first female to land a backside 900 in a quarterpipe competition.
