• Career Highlights: Richardson began her speedskating career on ice in 2007, after a successful inline skating career. She won her first U.S. Sprint Speedskating Championship title in 2008 after sweeping all four events in the sprint competition at the conclusion of the U.S. Long Track Speedskating Championships in Milwaukee. Since the 2008-09 season began, she has been training with national sprint coach Ryan Shimabukuro and the U.S. National Training Program.
