  • Career Highlights: Thatcher played for Team USA at two World Championships, tallying two goals and two points in 2008 and picking up one assist in 2009. She was also named to the team in 2007 but missed the tournament due to injury. After one year at Brown University, Thatcher transferred to Providence for the 2003-04 season. She finished her career 10th on the Friars’ points list with 132. Led Providence in scoring for the second straight season with 47 points in 2005-06. Thatcher helped the Minnesota Whitecaps to the Western Women’s Hockey League championship in 2008-09.
