  • Career Highlights: A four-time All-Star that began his career with Ottawa in 1997, Hossa spent his first seven seasons with the Senators before he was traded to Atlanta in August 2005. He scored 30 or more goals in six straight seasons, tallying a career-high 45 in 2002-03. Hossa had 43 goals and a career-best 100 points in 2006-07, his final season with the Thrashers, who dealt him to Pittsburgh on Feb. 26, 2008. After helping the Penguins reach the Stanley Cup finals against Detroit, Hossa signed a one-year contract with the Red Wings less than one month later. Hossa reached the 40-goal mark for the third time in his career with Detroit but the Red Wings lost to the Penguins in a Cup finals rematch. Hossa joined his third team in 17 months on July 1, 2009, signing a 12-year contract with Chicago. He missed the start of the 2009-10 season following shoulder surgery, making his debut with the Blackhawks on Nov. 25 with two goals in a win over San Jose. Hossa has represented Slovakia in the 2002 and 2006 Olympics, tallying 16 points in eight total games.
