Career Highlights: The bronze medalist at 55 kg at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, Kudukhov subsequently stepped up to 60 kg and has dominated that weight class over the past few years, winning three straight world championships to add to the world title he won at 55 kg in 2007. He also took home the silver medal at 55 kg at the 2006 world championships and won a European title at 55 kg in 2007. At his new, higher weight class, Kudukhov is a heavy favorite to claim his first gold medal in London.
