Williams-Mills also ran the 400 in Athens, where she was eliminated in the semifinals. Following those Olympics, she was part of the Jamaican team that won silver in the 4x400 at both the 2005 and 2007 world championships. At those '07 worlds, the quartet set a national team record with a time of 3:19.73. Williams-Mills also picked up a bronze at the event. One year later in Beijing, she and the Jamaican team took bronze in the 4x400, but she was again eliminated in the 400 semifinals. The relay team improved to silver at the worlds in 2009 and '11, the latter event which saw her reach the 400 finals. Williams-Mills was on the track and field team at the University of Florida before graduating in 2004.
