Career Highlights: Salukvadze will join some rare company with a seventh consecutive Olympic appearance. She has competed in the last four Games
for her native Georgia and earned one of her three career medals in Beijing, a bronze in the 10-meter air pistol. She won
the other two in 1988 for the Soviet Union, a gold in the 25-meter pistol and a silver in the 10-meter event. Salukvadze won
her ninth World Cup finals championship in 2010 and was a runner-up in 2011. She has finished first in 17 World Cup events
over nearly three decades of international competition with the last win coming in 2011. She also won a world title in 1989
in the 10-meter air pistol and finished second in that event in 2002.
