Ranked No. 4 in the world in the -58 kg weight division as of June, Karaket's resume includes first-place finishes at the 2010 Asian championships and 2011 World Olympic qualification tournament. He most recently took home the silver from the Asian championships in May. Karaket is expected to face some stiff competition at the 2012 Games, and he could have a hard time defeating some of the more experienced competitors in his weight class.
