Career Highlights: A two-time Olympian, Mulder is still in search of his first Olympic medal. At the Athens Games in 2004, Mulder finished 10th
in the men’s sprint, 11th in the 1,000-meter time trial and 18th in the keirin. Four years later in Beijing, Mulder improved
to sixth in the sprint, but fell to 21st in the keirin. He was also a member of the Netherlands’ team sprint squad that placed
fifth at those Games. A past world champion in the keirin and time trial events, Mulder remains one of the Netherlands most
decorated cyclists based on his success on the World Cup circuit and national stages. He finished fifth in the time trial
at the 2012 track world championship and 19th in the keirin.
