Career Highlights: After rallying for an Olympic gold medal in her hometown in 2008, Chen will seek another when she travels a little farther away for her third Olympics. The pistol shooter was third in the 25-meter event after the qualifying round in Beijing but scored 208.4 points in the finals, 6.2 more than the two other medalists and 2.5 more than any other finalist. Chen had the second-best performance during the finals of the Athens Games but couldn’t pull off the same rally as she finished fourth and 1.2 points away from the bronze. Chen earned the gold medal at the 2006 world championships and has won the title in three World Cup finals, the most recent in 2007. She also finished second four other times and was third in 2011. Chen came in first at the Asian shooting championships in January and won her 10th World Cup gold medal in May.
