Career Highlights: He may still be best-known as the synchronized diving partner of Wu Minxia, but has recently shown signs that she could also
contend for a medal individually in London. He began teaming with Wu following the retirement of Wu's longtime partner Guo
Jingjing, and the newly-formed duo wasted no time in winning gold in 3m synchronized springboard at the 2011 World Championships
in Shanghai. She won silver in the individual 3m springboard a the Shanghai worlds, placing second behind Wu, but then pulled
off an upset and defeated Wu to win gold in the individual 3m springboard at the Diving World Series in Beijing in March.
He's first major international gold medal came in the 1m springboard at the 2007 World Championships in Melbourne.
