Career Highlights: After many years of success partnering with Pawel Sarna in C-2 slalom events, Pochwala will make his third Olympic appearance with teammate Piotr Szczepanski. Pochwala finished 10th at the 2004 Games and eighth in Beijing while partnering with Sarna, also succeeding in many other international competitions. The 28-year-old Pochwala, who has changed partners a number of times throughout his career, now will try to capture a medal with the inexperienced 18-year-old Szczepanski. The youngster will be competing in his first Olympics, though Pochwala's veteran experience could help the duo to a respectable finish.
