Career Highlights: Szczepanksi doesn't have a great deal of international experience at such a high level, but the 18-year-old will have a solid veteran presence in the boat during his first Olympic appearance. Szczepanski will team with Marcin Pochwala, who is 10 years older and has competed in the past two Games in the C-2 slalom event. Pochwala has switched partners multiple times in his career, though he may have taken on his biggest challenge in Szczepanski. The youngster, though, is considered a rising star in Poland, and the duo's qualification for the Olympics in their first year competing together is evidence of that.
