Career Highlights: This will be the second Olympics for Filion, who placed a respectable seventh alongside partner Meaghan Benfeito in the 10m synchronized platform event at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The duo's best performances in major international competition resulted in bronze medals in 10m synchronized platform at the 2005 world championships and the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Filion and Benfeito have failed to medal in worlds or the Olympics since 2005. Filion will also be competing in the individual women's 10m platform in London after placing first in that event at the Canadian Olympic diving trials in May, an accomplishment that she described as "icing on the cake."
