Victoria Moors
Sport: Gymnastics
Nation: Canada
DOB: May 11, 1996
Career Highlights: At just 16 years old, Moors is expected to be among the youngest competitors at the London Games, but she'll also be seen
as a serious medal threat. In March, the Canadian placed fourth in all-around at the prestigious American Cup - which boasted
a top international field with many likely Olympians - after being invited on short notice. She turned in her best performance
in the floor exercise, which is her strongest event and one in which she's among the best in the world, while also flashing
her abilities in the vault with an impressive effort in that competition. Moors' performances in floor and vault at the last
Olympic qualifying event in January helped Canada to a second-place finish and one of 12 full-team berths at the Games. Those
strong results in her first year of being age-eligible for senior events seem to bode well, as Canada hurried to get Moors
into senior competitions in preparation for London.
