Career Highlights: Wasielewski is going for his second consecutive Olympic gold medal in the quadruple sculls after teaming with Marek Kolbowicz,
Michal Jelinski and Adam Korol for first place in Beijing. Wasielewski, who has been rowing since 1998, joined that crew in
2005 along with Jelinski after the team took fourth in the 2004 Games. In 2006, Wasielewski and the Polish men’s quadruple
sculls crew was named the World Rowing Male Crew of the Year. He's a four-time gold medalist (2005-'07 and ‘09) at the world
championships in quadruple sculls, and he helped Poland finish fourth at that event last year. Wasielewski, who also enjoys
swimming and windsurfing, was inducted into the Polish Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
