Career Highlights: The youngster member of Great Britain’s women’s match race team, Kate Macgregor joins sister Lucy and Annie Lush in the boat at the Dorset venue at London 2012. With a number of championship titles and gold at the 2007 Olympic Youth Festival to her name, Macgregor left the sport to attend university in 2009, only to be asked to join the Great Britain match racing team in 2010. Sister Lucy and the other crewmember Annie Lush both sailed in the build-up to Beijing alongside Shirley Robertson, and the experienced pair have years of match racing experience under their belts. The trio have the 2010 match racing world title to their name and go into the Games as one of the favourites for gold in their class, with France, USA and Holland all likely to challenge.
