Career Highlights: The son of Goran Sukno, who won a gold medal in water polo for Yugoslavia at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, Sandro Sukno could
be primed to make a major splash in London. The attacker emerged as Croatia's top offensive force in January's European Championships,
where he was the tournament's top scorer with 24 goals. He also led all scorers with 17 goals at the most recent World Cup,
where the Croatians finished second to Serbia. Sukno first appeared on the Croatian national team in 2009, when he helped
his country take bronze at the world championships. Sukno plays professionally for Jug in his native Dubrovnik, as does his
older brother John.
