Career Highlights: Avluca will be one of the oldest wrestlers in the field at the 2012 London Games, his fourth Olympic appearance. He finished 13th in both 1996 and 2000 before winning a bronze medal in Beijing in 2008. Avluca is a two-time world champion (1999, 2009) and four-time European champion (1996, 2004, 2008, 2010) and has won a total of 14 medals combined at those two events. He also won the World University championship in 2002 and has won six medals at the World Cup, including golds in 2001 and 2010.
