Career Highlights: Jeffery is relatively new to C-2 events in whitewater slalom, as is his teammate, Kynan Maley. That didn't prevent the duo from qualifying for the Olympics for the first time. Jeffery won the C-1 event at the 2011 Australian championships, which he views as one of his greatest canoeing accomplishments. Shortly after that, he teamed with Maley and competed in the World Cup, finishing eighth. The duo is in its second international season together and viewed as a heavy underdog heading into the Olympics. Jeffery is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, but moved to Australia in 1991.
