Career Highlights: It's been a long time coming for Maley to earn his first Olympic appearance, qualifying for the first time in his 12-year pursuit. Not only did Maley finally earn a trip to the Games, he'll become the first Australian to compete in both the single and double slalom events in the same Olympics. Aside from competing in the C-1 event, he'll team with Robin Jeffery in the C-2. Maley came close to earning a spot at the 2004 and 2008 Games in the C-1, but lost out to the since-retired Robin Bell both times. He's only competed with Jeffery for the past year, but they earned a spot in London with a strong performance at the 2011 World Cup, finishing eighth.
