Career Highlights: The setter was instrumental in helping Argentina reach the Olympics for the first time since 2004 as it won the South American
continental qualifying spot. De Cecco played a nearly flawless tournament as Argentina won all nine sets in its three matches,
committing only one fault in 152 total attempts, and his 10.56 sets per set were nearly four more than second-place finisher
Jose Carrasco of Venezuela. He is a sound defensive player and finished second among all blockers in the continental tournament
with 0.78 per set, trailing only compatriot Sebastian Sole. De Cecco was named the 2011 Best Setter in both the World League
and World Cup, averaging a tournament-best 9.86 sets per set in the latter in helping Argentina to a seventh-place finish.
At the club level, De Cecco has split his time between Argentina and Italy, most recently returning to Italian side Pallavolo
Gabeca in 2011.
