Career Highlights: After winning a silver medal in Athens in 2004, Maruskova had a subpar performance during the Beijing Games. She'll try to make up for that during her third Olympic appearance. The Czech Republic shooter won her medal in the 25-meter pistol but finished 20th in that event in 2008 and came in 26th in the 10-meter air pistol. Maruskova might have a chance for a better showing in London as she's enjoyed some excellent results over the past couple of years. She won her first title at the World Cup finals in 2011 after finishing second in 2010. Maruskova came in third in the 25-meter pistol at the 2010 world championships. She has followed up those performances by earning a combined five medals in World Cup events this year.
