Charlotte DuJardin

Nation: Great Britain
DOB: July 13, 1986
Hometown: Newent
Career Highlights: The dark horse of the Great Britain Dressage team, Charlotte Dujardin has the potential to be one of the surprise medallists
in London. Successful as a youngster, winning at the Horse of the Year and Royal International Horse show, Dujardin threw
herself into the world of dressage. After working for rider Judy Harvey for four years, she was offered a full-time post by
Carl Hester in 2007 and has yet to look back. Riding her horse Valgero, Dujardin won her debut Grand Prix test event at Addington
Manor and has gone on to have success at Zwolle, Vidauban, Saumur and Hagen as part of the World Class Performance Squad.
Alongside Hester, the young Dujardin stunned the Dressage world by winning team gold at the 2011 European Championships in
Rotterdam, and that success looks likely to put her amongst the favourites to medal at London. The Dutch and German teams
remain strong competition, and Dujardin will also face a challenge from within a Great Britain squad with impressive strength
in depth.
