Career Highlights: One of the most successful swimmers Australia has ever produced, Sullivan is a three-time medalist at the Olympics. He made his debut for the national team in 2004 at the Athens Games, where he was part of the 4x100 freestyle relay squad that finished sixth. Four years later in Beijing, that team won the bronze and Sullivan was also part of the 4x100 medley relay squad that took home silver. Individually, Sullivan won the silver in the 100 freestyle and placed sixth in the 50 freestyle. The one-time world record holder in both the 50 and 100, Sullivan was most recently part of the 4x100 freestyle team that won gold at the 2011 world championships. He was on the 4x100 freestyle and 4x100 medley teams that captured gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where he also won a bronze in the 100. Sullivan won gold in the 100 and bronze in the 50 at the 2010 Australian National Championships. He also starred in a pair of major events in Melbourne, taking gold in the 4x100 medley and silver in the 4x100 freestyle at the 2006 Commonwealth Games before winning gold in the 4x100 medley and bronze in the 100 at the 2007 worlds.
