Career Highlights: Osborne will make his first Olympic appearance in London, teaming with Peter Graves, Elliot Hovey and Wes Piermarini in the
quadruple sculls. Osborne has never competed in that event at a major international event, but did finish eighth in the eight
at the 2011 world championships and ninth in 2009. Osborne biggest achievement was taking gold in the eight at the 2008 U-23
world championships after finishing fourth the year before. The native of Sherman Oaks, Calif., started rowing in 2005 at
Stanford. After helping the Cardinal win the freshman four with coxswain, he was part of the crew that finished second in
the varsity eight at the 2007 IRA championships, fifth in 2008 and third in 2009. Osborne was a two-time All-Pac-10 pick,
and was named conference male rower of the year as a senior.
