Willers, who lives in California, has been able to hold his own against some of the top BMX racers in the world, including
Australia’s Sam Willoughby and reigning Olympic champion Maris Strombergs of Latvia. The ABA’s No. 1 rider last winter, Willers
is a multiple ABA national champion who won a pair of World Cup races last season. The highlight of his successful 2011 campaign
came in September, when he won the men’s supercross World Cup race on the same London track that Olympians will compete on
this summer.
