Nation: United States of America

DOB: August 30, 1985

Career Highlights: Although Madison finished sixth in the 200 meters at the U.S. trials and failed to qualify, she heads to London riding a wave of confidence. She had never run a sub-11 second 100 until the Adidas Grand Prix on June 9, when she clocked in at 10.97 seconds. Proving that wasn't a fluke, she followed with another strong showing at the trials. She'll make her Olympic debut in the 100 after finishing second in the event with a time of 10.96 seconds - 0.04 behind world champion Carmelita Jeter. Madison won indoor and outdoor titles in the long jump at the SEC championships and NCAA championships in 2005, and also won gold in the long jump at the 2005 world championships with a leap of 6.89 meters.
