Career Highlights: Campbell qualified for her first Olympics by helping the U.S. team win its first-ever World Cup medal in women’s epee, a silver at the St. Maur Epee World Cup in France. Ranked third in the United States and 39th in the world, Campbell earned a team gold medal and an individual bronze at the 2011 Pan Am Championships. She also earned an individual silver in that competition in 2009 and a bronze in ’08, and has been a part of five senior world championship teams. She has medaled in three straight North American Cups, winning gold in 2010. Campbell began fencing at age 9 and is an excellent all-around athlete who ran a marathon in 2004 and a sprint triathlon in 2008. She is working on a PhD in geography at Rutgers University.
