Career Highlights: Miller, who will be 28 when the London Games start, will make his first Olympic appearance after helping the American eights
defeat New Zealand in May at the final qualification regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland. Miller, a native of Duxbury, Mass.,
made his first U.S. national senior team in 2009 - two years after he graduated from Northeastern. Miller’s father, William,
also competed at Northeastern and was on the U.S. rowing team at the 1972 Olympics. Miller arrives at Eton Gorney with world
championship experience, including an eighth-place finish in the quadruple sculls in 2010 and 12th the year before. In 2011,
Miller made it to the semifinals of the Double Sculls Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta, finished fifth in double
sculls at a World Cup event in Munich and 11th in a World Cup stop in Lucerne.
