Career Highlights: Mowrer, a 2011 national champion, will be making his initial appearance in the Games. He is set to compete in the 50-meter free pistol, the event in which he earned his national crown, after coming in second at this year’s championships/Olympic trials. Mowrer had his best finish internationally in 2010 when he came in fifth in the 10-meter air pistol at the Championship of the Americas. He also finished sixth in the free pistol at the 2011 Pan Am Games and eighth at a world cup event in May. Mowrer is a four-time NRA intercollegiate pistol champion and earned a pair of national junior Olympic titles in 2008.
