She'll be competing with former gold medal winner Anna Tunnicliffe and Tunnicliffe's college teammate Debbie Capozzi. With the help of Vandemoer, the trio was recognized as U.S. Sailing's 2010 Olympic team of the year. The team has multiple first- and second-place finishes in international competition since that year. Vandemoer is the oldest member of the team at 33.
