Career Highlights: A versatile overall athlete, Olds earned her first Olympic berth by winning the Tour of Chongming Island World Cup event
this season. She is a two-time national champion (2008, '09) in the scratch road race event and criterium (2010, '11). Olds
also won a gold medal in the road race at the 2010 Pan-American Games. Her best finish on the world championship scene came
one year ago, when she placed 22nd in the road race. Olds was a talented runner and soccer player when she turned to cycling
in 2005 after riding on the back of a tandem mountain bike. Considered one of the country’s top sprint racers, Olds has earned
six first-place race or stage finishes since 2009. She splits her time living between California and Spain.
