Career Highlights: Gault will make his second Olympic appearance this summer after helping the U.S. finish fifth in quadruple sculls in Beijing.
In London, the California native will compete with Charlie Cole, Glenn Ochal and Henrik Rummel in the men’s four crew. Gault
and Cole were on the U.S.-qualifying boat that finished fourth at the 2011 world championships. Gault, who started rowing
in 1999, also finished fourth in the four with coxswain at the 2006 worlds and fourth in the four at the U-23 world championships
in 2005. While at the University of Washington, Gault helped the Huskies win the varsity eights at the 2005 Intercollegiate
Rowing Association championship, and the eights at the 2004 and 2005 Pac-10 championships. As a freshman, Gault won the eights
at the IRA championship and the Pac-10 championship. A 2006 graduate of Washington, Gault is an aviation insurance broker.
