Career Highlights: Jaeger will participate in his first Olympics after finishing second (14:52.51) to Andrew Gemmell in the 1,500 meter freestyle at the U.S. Trials. A native of Fairhaven, N.J., Jaeger just completed his sophomore year at Michigan. He finished third at last season’s NCAA championships in the 1,650-yard freestyle relay and fifth in the 500 freestyle. Jaeger, a first-team All-Big Ten selection, was also named an All-American in the 800 freestyle relay. He won the 2012 conference championship in the 1,650 freestyle and 800 freestyle relay.
