Career Highlights: Kasprzyk is part of the eights crew that earned its spot in London by winning the final Olympic qualification regatta in Lucerne,
Switzerland, in May. He makes his Olympic debut but brings in a wealth of international experience. Kasprzyk won gold in the
eights at the 2011 Pan Am Games, and also took fifth in the four. At the 2009 world championships, he finished ninth in the
eights. Two years earlier at that event he took seventh in the pair. In 2001, Kasprzyk was on the freshman eight crew boat
that qualified for the national championships. He was on the varsity boat the following season that took fifth at the Dad
Vail Regatta. Kasprzyk, who also enjoys mountain biking and running, said that his most memorable athletic achievement was
completing the 2004 Philadelphia Marathon.
