Lea Davison
Sport: Cycling
Nation: United States of America
DOB: May 19, 1983
Hometown: Jericho, VT
Career Highlights: Davison is headed to her first Summer Games after finishing in the top 10 at the 2011 mountain bike world championship and
World Cup races in Italy and the Czech Republic. Earning that Olympic roster spot was all the more impressive considering
she missed the entire 2010 season while recovering from major hip surgery. A former skier, Davison was turned on to mountain
biking by a former boyfriend while in high school. A five-time national champion, she is known for a tireless work ethic,
which played a big part in helping her get through rehab two years ago. In addition to her success on the bike, Davison is
co-founder - along with her sister - of the girls' mountain-bike mentoring program “Little Bellas.”
