Career Highlights: Dawson has been part of the U.S. field hockey program since 2001, when she was named to the Under-21 team. In 2005, she made the national team and was on the squad that went to the 2008 Olympics, earning player of the tournament honors for the Beijing qualifier. She scored her 150th cap at the 2011 Pan American Games, helping the U.S. earn a berth in London. Dawson was an assistant coach with Princeton after a stellar career at North Carolina from 2003-07. She was the ACC defensive player of the year in 2005.
