Geena Gall

Sport: Track and Field

Nation: United States of America

DOB: January 18, 1987

Hometown: Ann Arbor, MI

Career Highlights: Gall is known as a strong finisher in her races, and her finishing speed never paid off more than it did in the 800 at the U.S. trials as she was able to slightly separate herself from a crowded pack near the end of the race. Gall was a two-time NCAA outdoor champion for the University of Michigan and the USA outdoor runner-up in 2009. By the time her career at Michigan was over, she was a 10-time Big Ten champion and nine-time All-American. Gall knew that she still needed more to become an Olympian and moved west to join the Oregon Track Club Elite and begin training full-time under coach Mark Rowland. Gall is one of four children and earned her Communications Studies degree from Michigan. She earned her first spot on the U.S. Olympic team after years of hard work and will look to make another late push in London.
