Career Highlights: Anderson qualified for her first Olympics by winning the 10k open water title at the FINA Olympic marathon qualifier in Portugal
on June 9. She'll be joined in London by older sister Alyssa, who placed sixth in the 200-meter freestyle final at the trials
to earn a spot on a 4x200 relay team. Haley won the 800m free at the Speedo Grand Challenge in May, edging fellow Olympian
Kate Ziegler. Anderson finished second in the 800m free at the 2011 nationals and third in the same event the previous year.
She was ninth in the 1,500m free at the 2009 world championships and first in the 800m and 1,500m free at the 2009 Pan Pacific
championships. Anderson is a three-time conference champion at USC and holds school records in the 800, 1,000 and 1,650 yard
free.
