Paige Selenski

Paige SelenskiSport: Field Hockey

Nation: United States of America

DOB: June 30, 1990

Hometown: Shavertown, PA

Career Highlights: Selenski took a year off from playing for the University of Virginia to train with the U.S. national team. Her absence was certainly felt by the Cavaliers, whom she led in scoring for three straight years and totaled 28 goals in 2010. That season, she helped lead Virginia to the semifinals of the NCAA tournament and was named to the All-Tournament team. Virginia's loss, though, was the national team's gain as Selenski was a key figure in the U.S. qualifying for London. She scored two goals at the 2011 Pan American games, including one in the gold-medal match against Argentina to help the U.S. earn a bid. Selenski was named to the senior national team in 2009 after being named to the developmental squad in 2008.
