quadruple sculls boat. Piermarini originally had dreams of Olympic glory in downhill skiing, but that changed when he started
rowing as a freshman at the University of Massachusetts. Since 2008, his best international finish was eighth in the quadruple
sculls at the 2010 world championships. Piermarini is an architectural draftsman by trade.
