Career Highlights: Martelli will be making her Olympic debut in London, teaming with crewmates Kara Kohler, Megan Kalmoe and Natalie Dell in
quadruple sculls. Martelli, Kalmoe and Dell took second place in the event at the 2011 world championships, while Kohler was
on the gold medal-winning four boat. Martelli earned a bronze in the four at the 2010 worlds after finishing second the year
before in the eight at the U-23 world championships. She began rowing at the University of Washington in 2006, taking 11th
in the varsity eight at the 2009 and '10 NCAA championships after winning Pac-10 and NCAA titles in the varsity four in '08.
A first-team All-American in 2009, Martelli would like to pursue a career in sports medicine following the Games.
