Sarah Trowbridge
Sport: Rowing
Nation: United States of America
DOB: September 27, 1982
Career Highlights: Trowbridge will make her Olympic debut in London after winning double sculls with Margot Shumway at the final qualification
regatta in May. Trowbridge and Shumway - who was a fifth-place finisher in quadruple sculls in Beijing - had the chance to
participate in that race only after the two U.S. Training Center boats that defeated them during an April national regatta
declined to compete. Trowbridge, who started rowing in 2000, has been on the national team since 2008. The University of Michigan
graduate finished ninth in double sculls at the 2011 world championships. She took fifth in quadruple sculls at the worlds
in 2010 and silver in 2009. At the 2007 Pan Am Games, the resident of Princeton, N.J., won gold in double sculls and silver
in quadruple sculls. After she's finished competing, Trowbridge has coaching aspirations.
