    Tara Mounsey's power-play goal snapped a second-period tie and Sarah Tueting made 20 saves as the United States stayed undefeated in the preliminary round with a 4-2 victory over Finland.

    The United States took a 2-1 lead 1:22 into the second period on Karyn Bye's third goal of the Olympics, but Riikka Nieminen tied it up a little more than four minutes later with her fourth for Finland. Nieminen is the tournament's leading scorer with eight points.

    Mounsey broke the deadlock with her second goal of the tournament at 6:49 and Gretchen Ulion closed out the scoring less than 10 minutes later with her second.

    The Americans dominated play in the third, outshooting Finland, 12-6.

    Bye finished with a goal and two assists for the U.S., which moved into a first-place tie with Canada with six points each.

    Tuula Puputti stopped 20 of 25 shots and Nieminen collected a goal and an assist for Finland, which owns a two-point lead over fourth-place China .

    Vicki Movessian gave the Americans a 1-0 lead 2:48 into the first but Kirsi Haenninen's shorthanded goal with 1:54 left in the period tied the game at a goal apiece.
