  Dragila no-heighted in her first outdoor start of the 1999 pole vaulting season, then went on an 11-meet winning streak, culminating in a World Record-tying height (15'1") at the World Outdoor Championships.

They said it:
"When I was a junior in college, Dave (Nielson, Dragila's coach at Idaho State) had a bunch of us heptathletes pick up and stick and try to go over six feet. Then we'd bump it up a little. That was our first experience and I thought, 'Gosh, what are we doing this for?' I was recruited as a heptathlete, so I thought this was just dinking around. The Dave said, 'That was pretty good.' I'm like, 'Yeah, whatever.' It was scary for me, going upside down, and not knowing where I was."
Currently:
She finished the year as Track and Field News' No. 1 ranked pole vaulter in the world. Pole vault will be a new woemn's competition in Sydney.
