Well it is official. I am going to the Games. I have to tell you it has been the longest wait of my life. I am so glad it is over, for the last six weeks I have been having trouble sleeping and going training, it has felt like I have had a cloud hanging over my head. It is very difficult when your future is taken out of your hands and given to somebody else to decide, but the wait is now over and I can concentrate on doing what I do best.

Not a lot happening at the moment besides celebrating. This is a strange period of training where we are just building up the mileage and working on technique, about eight weeks out things will really start to heat up and I will have to start living like a monk again. Early nights, all the right food and plenty of rest between sessions.

To give you an example last Tuesday we did five sessions consisting of three runs and two swims. On Wednesday, we did a 170 bike in the morning with a run straight after and a swim in the afternoon. So as you can see putting in the miles isn't always that much fun either.

Anyway I am going back to train again so I will talk to you all soon.

-- Miles
