Australia opened the 2000 Summer Olympics Friday night with Australian sprinter and Aborigine Cathy Freeman lighting the Olympic cauldron. SI's Leigh Montville says now that Freeman has made history there is even more pressure on her to win gold. The cauldron lighting ended the 4 1/2-hour Opening Ceremonies that sampled every facet of the country's rich heritage.
